The King of Pop Singer Michael Jackson passed away at the age of 50 - after being rushed to hospital in coma on Thursday afternoon 25 June 2009 in Los Angeles.
The singer stopped breathing and suffered a massive cardiac arrest, although the exact circumstances of his death are unknown.
Paramedics failed to revive the 50 year-old and he was taken to hospital in a coma where he was pronounced dead.
He had been very weak in recent weeks as he struggled to prepare for a 50 concerts in London to start on July 13.
Elizabeth Taylor, one of Michael Jackson’s closest friends, had planned to fly out on a private jet to attend Jackson’s opening night in London, Larry King said on CNN last night.
The “Charlie’s Angels” TV star, actress Farrah Fawcett passed away on Thursday June 25th 2009 at the age of 62.
NBC News has agreed to license and create a show about Farrah Fawcett’s two year battle with anal cancer. The show will have repackaged footage and will air May 15 at 9 PM. The show, “Farrah’s Story,” will include video footage of Fawcett during her struggle with cancer.
