Aditya Narayan – the son of the renowned Bollywood singer Udit Narayan is a popular singer, dancer and actor.

His famous song – `chhota bachha jaankey humko` popularly knows him all over

He was born on – 6th August 1987.

he is currently 20 years old and has a height of 5″8.

His father came to Indian from Nepal in the year 1979 to pursue his career in music.

Aditya Narayan started his musical career at the tender age of five.

While doing his graduation he left for London where he did a Diploma in English Contemporary Music. But at present he is on Mumbai and willing to complete his graduation.

He has also been trained in Indian classical music from Satyanarayan Mishra and also took training under Kalyanji Anandji. He desires to learn to be a master in the subject of music.

He not only wants to be trained in Indian or classical music but also wants to learn international music in a truly international way.

In the recent months Aditya Narayan is playing the role an anchor Zee Television`s musical show `Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007- Sangeet ka pratham vishwayudh`.

He feels great about getting the opportunity to be the part of such a great show. When the channel approached him, initially he thought about it a lot but then accepted the show even though he was not planning to begin his career before his studies. He does not have any previous experience as an anchor.

He has also acted before and will do films if he gets good work, which he can identify with. But his first preference would always remain to be music. He wants to spread his wings to display his talents on a global level.

About his father he says that Udit Narayan guides him in only one way and he always reminds him of his roots. He always tells his son that there is nothing compared to hard work and effort and that power comes within ones hands only with hard labor.

Being the son of the singing sensation of the country, Udit Narayan has both a positive and negative impact on him.

About his love life he doesn`t have to say anything as he remarked that he is basically a reserved person and has lots of friends who are girls but no girl friend as such.

udit_narayan2.jpg
A Nepali origin popular in Indian and Nepali Movies

Udit Narayan is the reigning king among male playback singers. His capability as a playback singer knows no bounds, as he not only sings in thirty languages but has also been acclaimed for every kind of melody – soulful, romantic, fast-paced and recently, even pop. He is known for his versatile tone, which appears to flawlessly suit every Indian hero on screen today. With three National awards and scores of other awards to his credit, Udit Narayan possesses one of the largest arrays of hit songs in the industry.

Udit Narayan began his career in Nepal singing for Kathmandu Radio Station where he used to sing Maithili and Nepali folk songs. After years of struggle and unnoticed recordings came the musical success of СQayamat Se Qayamat TakТ in 1988 making Udit an overnight star. Fans marvel at his versatility, but his trademark remains his “golden smile,” where one seems to actually СhearТ the smile on his lips through his songs.
