Supreme Court Advocate Indra Lohani, 41, passed away Friday evening after fainting earlier in the day.

He was brought dead at Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu at 8:10 p.m., said Dr Sudhanshu KC, one of the doctors at the hospital. There were no signs of external injuries on Lohanis body, according to KC. Lohani was suffering from a liver condition medically known as fatty liver, KC said. Lohani’s younger brother Bheshraj told our correspondent Kiran Chapagain that Lohani had taken his four-year-old daughter for an outing to Guheswori temple at 5 p.m. He had complained of discomfort at the temple and had fainted for a while. After he regained consciousness, he asked locals to drop him at home. He passed away while being rushed from his house to the hospital. Lohani was a blood pressure patient, Bheshraj said.

Bheshraj said that no post-mortem would be done and the last rites would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat at 11 a.m.
